Scandinavian folk painters decorated cupboards and sleigh seats with birds and flowers to keep a house cheerful through long winters. We borrowed the idea and added a few small dogs. Bright, warm and happy, it looks wonderful in a white room.
The print
Cranberry-red folk birds, hearts and tulips, plus a handful of little cream dogs, are arranged in a lively pattern on deep navy. The shapes are flat and graphic, like hand-painted wood. A cream reverse brightens the underside.

Care
- Shake out or lint-roll loose pet hair first
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, on its own the first time
