We collect as little as we can, use it to get a blanket to your door, and never sell or rent it to anyone. This page explains what that looks like in practice.

Who looks after your data

HONOUR EXPERT LIMITED runs Larchsong and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us about privacy at info@larchsong.com; our customer service email is available 24/7.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, the items you buy and, if you add one, a phone number for the carrier.
• When you email us or sign up: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
• When you browse: basic technical data such as your device, browser, approximate location from your IP address and the pages you view, gathered through cookies and similar tools.

Card details travel straight to the payment processor; your full card number never reaches our hands or our records.

Why we use it

• To take payment, pack and ship your order, and send order and delivery updates.
• To answer your emails and handle returns or refunds.
• To keep the shop secure and prevent fraud.
• To understand which pages and designs people like, so we can improve the site.
• To send our newsletter, only if you have signed up for it.
• To show you Larchsong ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure whether they work, where the law allows and your choices permit.

The companies that help us

We share information only with the providers we need to run the shop, and only what they need for their job:

• Shopify hosts our store and checkout and processes order data on our behalf. Shopify's own privacy policy explains how it handles data.
• Payment processors such as Shopify Payments, PayPal and card networks handle your payment and run fraud checks.
• Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, for Facebook and Instagram): a small piece of code that records visits and actions such as adding to cart, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested.
• Shipping carriers receive your name, address and parcel details to deliver your order.
• Email tools send order messages and, if you opt in, our newsletter.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. Selling or renting out customer details is something Larchsong simply does not do.

Cookies

A few cookies are strictly necessary, remembering your bag and letting checkout run. Others help with analytics and advertising, including the Meta pixel. You can manage these in your browser or through the options on our Your Privacy Choices page. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the shop working.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually several years. Newsletter details stay until you unsubscribe. Emails are kept as long as they are useful for helping you, then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to certain uses. You can also opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of data as defined by some US state laws. Email info@larchsong.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

Our store runs on Shopify's secure infrastructure with encrypted connections. No system is perfect, but we limit who can see your information and keep it to what is needed.

International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and our providers operate in several countries, including the United States. When your information moves between countries, we rely on our providers' safeguards to protect it.

Children

Our shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page.
