Deep, traditional and gloriously practical, tartan was made for country houses full of dogs. This one leans rich and dark, so it looks smart on a leather chair or an old oak bench. It will not show the evidence of a walk in the rain.
The print
Forest green and navy form the ground of a classic tartan, crossed by fine mustard and cream lines that give it a subtle glow. The sett is medium-scale, so it reads clearly on every size. A forest-green reverse matches the darkest squares.
