The tree we were named for, in autumn gold
Larches are the only conifers that turn gold and drop their needles, and a larch wood in October glows like late sunshine. We wanted a blanket that carries that glow into a room. It feels warm and a little bit retro, like a good wool coat.
The print
Mustard-gold larches stand among deep green pines in a mid-century repeat, with plump larch cones and fine needled sprigs filling the gaps. The oatmeal background keeps the palette soft rather than loud. Underneath, a forest-green reverse picks up the darkest tree.
