Every grandmother's linen cupboard seemed to hold one piece of bright cross-stitch, saved for best. This print gives you that folk-embroidery charm on a blanket the dog is actually allowed to use. It is cheerful, colourful and full of heart.
The print
Poppy-red, cobalt and mustard flowers and folk birds are drawn in tiny stitch-like marks on an unbleached cream ground. The pattern mimics hand embroidery but is printed, so it stays smooth and snag-free. The cream reverse keeps it light.
