A row of blue hydrangeas by the front steps is shorthand for summer in half the towns on the coast. This print is fresh, bold and clean, with the easy confidence of blue-and-white china. It looks especially good against white slipcovers and weathered wood.
The print
Big mophead hydrangeas in cornflower, periwinkle and violet-blue fill the top of the blanket, painted wet-in-wet with glossy green leaves on white. The flowers sit large, so the print reads well even across a room. The soft blue reverse echoes the palest petals.
